The R3 is Fizik's slightly pared down version of it's signature R1. Boasting the same handmade, fine Italian handiwork as the R1, the R3's upper is made from Fizik's legendary quality microfiber, instead of the ultra-light kangaroo leather. As with the R1, Fizik has borrowed from it's phenomenal microfiber saddle covers and incorporated it's legendary quality into their shoes. A carbon fiber outsole completes the shoe with lightweight solidity. A beautiful, practical, and ingenious detail, the closure straps are made from sail cloth, ensuring that the straps remain strong throughout the constant putting on and taking off of shoes over the years. The R3's buckle, made from a stainless base with an aluminum loading lever, has double click adjustment with full release mechanism, providing both ease of adjustment and a durable system.
